Should have done more research. This is NOT thick. Dr. Scholl’s Molefoam Padding is really thick and padded. I don’t see how there is any padding in these. It really should just be labeled moleskin. It is the same thing as their Moleskin Plus Padding Roll, but much more expensive.I haven’t yet used this product, but their thick padding stays put. The cheap military non-padded Moleskin also works well, so I anticipate these to stick.I use the thin Moleskin to prevent, and the thicker if I get a blister (cut a piece to border the sore or blister).Pic shows the three next to each other (Molefoam Padding, Moleskin plus Padding, Moleskin plus Padding Roll).
The package was delivered on time in good order. The Moleskin foot pads stayed attached to my blister and made my run pain free. However, the pad comes off after wearing and sweating, so you can’t shower and keep wearing it throughout the day. It has limited time span, but is very effective for short stints.
I didn't know these things existed until I got some new walking shoes that immediately rubbed blisters....my husband told me about these and they are great! They stay put (even in the shower) and can prevent blisters if you get to it early enough or allow existing blisters to heal.
Wonderful product! I live in NYC, so I walk...a lot. Finding comfortable AND cute shoes can be hard... but I feel like I can wear the cute shoes now because of this moleskin! No more blisters for me! :D
The are the best and do not come off or rub off when placed on the foot. They can be a bit painful to take off so I recommend that you take them off after a shower, bath, or soaking the area and they will come off easily. They can easily be cut to fit any size area that needs protection. I never travel without taking a Moleskin packet.
I have dancer's feet and an old toe injury that has developed arthritis causing great discomfort when wearing shoes. I had tried to use bandaids, but they never seemed to fit right or stay in place. I find that by cutting and placing a piece of Dr. Scholl's Moleskin around the painful toe, I am able to wear my dance shoes and Zumba or dance! The moleskin stays in place until I remove it.
