Does anyone else ever google, “What to wear in Disney World,” or “What to wear on an airplane,” before going on vacation?
I have literally searched, “Outfits to Wear to a Baseball Game” looking for inspiration. I know. I’m such a nerd. But I can’t be the only one because there are actual articles out there with those titles!
And now I’m writing one. Because I know someone else out there is googling, “What to wear to Disney World,” wanting to make sure they’re on the right track with their packing game.
Today I’m going to combine 3 of my favorite things in one post:
and Stuffing My Face
Does it get any better than that? I think not.
I’ve compiled every tip I have in my arsenal for how to eat cheap at Disney World so that you can start getting your game plan together for your own trip, whenever that may be. Yes, I realize they are still closed, but the day is coming when life as we knew it will be restored! Right? Right? Please someone tell me that day is coming!
So today I have for you some of THE BEST Disney World tips that I have accumulated over the years. They come from personal experience and from moms who have been to Disney with kids on repeat for years. There is some seriously good stuff in here so you’ll definitely want to pin this to reference over and over again as you prep for your Disney vacations.
Well, I guess it’s not really news now. If you have a Disney World vacation planned anytime between now and April you have probably received the devastating news that Disney World is closing its gates beginning on March 16, 2020 until at least April 1, 2020.
As you start to plan your Disney vacation, you may be considering what options are available for travel within the “World.” If you’re staying at a Disney resort, you know that there is always the option to take Disney provided shuttle buses to and from the parks each day. And of course there’s always Uber and Lyft if you want a private ride. But another option to keep in mind is Disney’s own personal shuttle service with the adorably appointed name.
It’s no secret. A Disney vacation is expensive.
To be fair, Disney has an amazing product to offer, and they know it. And no matter how expensive it gets, people still flock there with wallets open wide and a smile on their face. And I’m right there with them wearing my Disney tee and Mickey ears. So as long as people are willing to pay the prices they charge we won’t be seeing any major drop in price any time soon.
Costa Rica is not remotely lacking in adventurous opportunities. Most of them I wouldn’t touch with a 10 foot pole, because I’m a wuss (a casual walk through the rainforest in the dark? No thanks!). But one of the things I knew we had to try was zip lining in Costa Rica. I’m not sure what I was thinking, because I’m so dang afraid of heights.
We recently got back from one of the best vacations I’ve ever been on. Like, seriously. This place is beautiful. Like straight out of the most breathtaking scenes of Jurassic Park, beautiful.
And Costa Rica is one of those places you could spend weeks touring and still not come close to experiencing all that it has to offer…
So you’ve booked your trip, your fast passes have been selected, and you even know where you want to eat. But have you thought about what souvenirs you want to buy?
So here is my list of favorite souvenirs and where to find them. And better yet, all of them can be purchased for less than $20, cause you know I love a deal…
One of my favorite things to do before our Disney trips are over, is to pick out a souvenir to remind of us one of our favorite places on earth (I know, so dramatic. But seriously, we love it so much!)
But you may have noticed a theme around here. I don’t like to spend a lot of money… on ANYTHING.
So if you’re like me, and you like to save money like it’s a sport, I’ve compiled this list for you…
There are few things in life that really truly matter. I mean there are things that eat my lunch everyday, but those things are rarely important if I stop to think about them.
But one thing that is really important to us is making memories with our kids…
I don’t have to tell you that the prices at theme parks are inflated for almost everything. And Disney is no exception. Before we left for our last Disney trip I made sure to buy everything on this list. Because you won’t catch me paying $15 for a plastic poncho, even if it does have that cute Mickey on it. I’d rather be soaked in silent protest.
Of course you can buy almost everything on this list when you get there. But if you buy them ahead of time you’ll save a ton…
If you know anything about me, you know I love a good deal.
Scratch that. If you know anything about me, you know I love getting things for free. Yeah, free is always better.
I’ve pretty much mastered the art when it comes to toothpaste and shampoo. But last year I was introduced to something that totally upped my game. I’m talking about the next level of extreme couponing. A little something called…
